And yet this year, my highest cash months across my real estate portfolio and my business happened while I was learning to surf in Costa Rica, drinking wine in Italy, traveling, having fun, and actually LIVING my freaking life.

Not despite that, but BECAUSE of it.

I wasn't at my laptop at 11pm trying to force an answer out of a problem. I wasn't making decisions from panic, pressure, or "holy shit I need this to work." I had space, and when I had space I could actually see what mattered. I stopped creating work just to feel productive. I stopped throwing things at the wall because I was scared.

Turns out, I didn't need to work harder. I needed to stop white-knuckling the entire freaking thing.

Nobody is taking your ambition away. You're ambitious. You're probably going to be ambitious at 80 😂 Making money and getting shit done is basically a part of your DNA at this point.

You are so good at working hard. You're just out of practice at the other part.

Freedom and joy were the whole point. They're the reason you built any of this. And somewhere in the middle of building it, they became the thing you sacrificed to keep it running.

This is the year you get them back. Without giving up a single thing you built.

So what actually happens?

Samantha’s Story

When Samantha joined Leap Year she was right on the edge of her first $100K month. She hit it, and then she told me it was the worst month of her life.

On paper she had everything she thought she was supposed to want. A successful mortgage business, multiple investment properties, constant travel, a great relationship. Everyone thought she'd made it. Behind the scenes her business owned her, her rentals were another full-time job, she'd drifted from her friends, and the stress was showing up in her body.

So we didn't sit down and figure out how to get her to $200K months. We asked what her life would look like if she built it from scratch.

Then we started removing instead of adding. The hustle that wasn't serving her. The parts of the business that depended on her for everything. The belief that success had to cost her her health and her actual life.

She had a $83,000 month, and this time the business didn't need her for every decision to get there. She's on track for another six-figure month without hating her life to get there. She built a cash-flowing Airbnb portfolio, picked up two more properties, hired real support, and lost 20 lbs in the process!

She got married earlier this month and took her family on the Alaskan cruise she always dreamed of giving them. She has a home she actually feels settled in.

What if I don't know what my next chapter is yet?
Perfect. That's most women when they join. If you already knew, you wouldn't need a room, you'd need a calendar. Working out what you actually want is the hardest part, which is exactly why we do it together.

How much time does this take?
One call a week, one 1:1 a month, two retreats a year, and a group chat. Realistically a few hours a week. You're not adding a job, you're changing how you use the hours you already have.

Is this a business mastermind or a personal one?
Both, and that's the point. Every business problem you have right now is downstream of something personal, and you already know that or you wouldn't have read this far. (But yes, this is a business writeoff 💃🏾)

What if my business can't run without me?
Then that's the work. Pulling yourself out of the middle of your own business is one of the most common things we do in here.

What if I'm not in real estate?
Neither are half the women in the room. Real estate is my zone and it's available to you if you want it, but this is about your business and your life, whatever shape they take.
